ANOTHER SUMMER DAY

Another Summer Day by elledge
another nightmare haunting there, nameless faces everywhere
running through the blackened spaces of my crazy mind...so unkind
with closing eyes and windswept fear, escaping even you my dear
dark forms pressing ever near, in my crazy mind...hoping to find
it's just another summer day, feels like yesterday
with a tremble and a grind, in my crazy mind
lonely women standing there, faces faded here and there
with faded dresses and long, black hair...in my mind
hungry children waiting there, starlit eyes and constant fear
like roving mice with hallowed out ears...in my mind
it's just another summer day, feels like yesterday
with a tremble and a grind, in my crazy mind
another nightmare haunting there, nameless faces everywhere
running through the blackened spaces of my crazy mind...so unkind
with closing eyes and windswept fear, escaping even you my dear
dark forms pressing ever near, in my crazy mind...hoping to find
it's just another summer day, feels like yesterday
with a tremble and a grind, in my crazy mind
Lonely women standing there, faces faded here and there
with faded dresses with long, black hair...in my mind
hungry children waiting there, starlit eyes and constant fear
like roving mice with hallowed out ears...in my crazy mind
hoping to find... in my crazy mind...in my crazy mind....
another nightmare haunting there, nameless faces everywhere
running through the blackened spaces of my crazy mind...

WAITING FOR THE STORM

WAITING FOR THE STORM by elledge
Why did you go and leave me all by myself
Was our love best left alone on a shelf
I only wanted you to understand
Asking only that you take my hand
And I say...
La, la, la, la, la, la-la-la
Did you say all the things you needed to say?
Or was pain too alive in your heart
Now the clouds are darkening, the thunder rumbles on
And in spite of our-selves, a new day is dawn
And I say...
La, la, la, la, la, la-la-la...
THE WIND IS TAKING OUR MEMORIES AWAY
HERE’S TO WAITING FOR THE STORM TO BEGIN
WITH RAINDROPS FALLING SWEETLY DOWN ON ME
WASHING TEARS GENTLY FROM MY SKIN
And I say...
You found your courage once in the bottom of a glass
Caring much too late, putting loved ones’ last
Now and today, they’re placing you in the ground
So sadly, your sealed lips make not a sound
And I say...
La, la, la, la, la, la-la-la
THE WIND IS TAKING OUR MEMORIES AWAY
HERE’S TO WAITING FOR THE STORM TO BEGIN
WITH RAINDROPS FALLING SWEETLY DOWN ON ME
WASHING TEARS GENTLY FROM MY SKIN
And I say...
La, la, la, la, la, la-la-la

Love Fell Down

Love Fell Down (original text)
By elledge
Words keep runnin’ from my mouth
From all directions, north, east, west and south
Trying to get into your ears : words from mouth
But you’ve put locks on your ears, there’s no doubt
We keep trying, but there’s no use
Words have become some kind of self abuse
We’ve got little choice, hit the road
Find a new prince, kiss another toad
Don’t know the moment exact
Stopped lovin’ you, that’s a fact !
Love fell down to my knees
Just take the door and walk away, please
Finally you get what you sew and what you weave
Working so hard to deceive
Before I say any more, need to bereave
Turn myself from you, take a psychological leave
Don’t know the moment précise
That I don’t love you, should suffice
Love fell down even to my feet
Time to take a bow, take a break, take a seat…
Don’t know the moment exact
Stopped lovin’ you that’s a fact
Don’t know the moment précise
That I don’t love you should suffice
Love fell down to my knees
Love fell down even to my feet
Time to take a bow, take a break, take a seat…
